ATV renewal coupons will be mailed the week of May 28th (or go to
http://dnr.wi.gov to register electronically).

ATV customers can also visit one of over 250 Registration Agents throughout
the state where you can receive new decals and certificates immediately in
hand for an additional $8 fee. To find a Registration Agent near you go to
http://dnr.wi.gov and search “Registration Agent”.

There are several changes to the ATV and UTV requirements that will go in
effect starting July 1, 2012:

•The registration period will be valid from April 1 to March 31 of the 3nd year
following the date of renewal.
•ATV/UTV owners that renew their registration after the expiration date will be
assessed a $5.00 late fee.
• Publicly registered ATV and UTV owners will be required to furnish a rear
plate in addition to the two side decals furnished by DNR. The plate must be: a
minimum of 4 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches wide, a white plate with black
lettering a minimum of 1 1/2 inches high with a minimum of 3/16 inch stroke,
and attached to the rear of the vehicle.
